Alumimum prices surge following Guinea's Coup

Guinea coup that shook Aluminium price @ $2650 per ton, the highest price surge in over 10 years.

Shareholders of Aluminium will be smiling all the way to bank ,as Guineans attempt to make sense of last week coup which ousted the government of President Alpha Conde.

Guinea is the world largest producer of Bauxite, a high grade iron ore used in making Aluminium. It is home to an estimated 1.8 billion tonnes of Bauxite yet one of the poorest nations in Sub Sahara Africa.
